The keyboard

Use keyboard shortcuts to switch modes and views, review photographs and edit.

Press ? for shortcuts available in the current context. Mode shortcuts use letters; views use ⌘ with digits. Bare digits set ratings.

Text fields handle typing without triggering photograph shortcuts. Other system shortcuts retain their normal handling, including ⇧⌘Z; Develop has no bound redo control.

Context. ⌘K, ⇧K and ⌥K manage sets in Browse and Choose. In Develop, ⇧K shows possible dust. Bare K controls focus peaking.

⇧X still rejects. Shift is ignored for ordinary letter actions unless it defines a separate action, such as shadow clipping. Caps Lock does not swap J and ⇧J; the physical Shift key determines the action.

Menus. The Photo menu includes verdicts, ratings, navigation, set actions, treatment copying and pasting, and export. Paste Treatment becomes Paste Treatment… outside Develop to open the batch summary. The grid menu also has Split from Strip and Merge with Next.

The View menu includes modes, views, sidebar, info panel, filmstrip, clipping, Keyboard Help and Show Keystrokes. Search Photographs and More Like This are in Library. Unavailable actions are disabled.
