Global adjustments and masks

Crop, Lens, RAW Detail and other whole-photograph controls cannot be applied through a mask.

With a layer selected, unmaskable groups appear dimmed under WHOLE PHOTOGRAPH:

  • Crop, Lens and Detail.
  • White balance on RAW files, where temperature and tint belong to the decode.
  • Monochrome and Toning while using the Monochrome process.

Click a dimmed group to select the whole photograph and enable it. These groups’ RESET buttons always clear the whole-photograph settings, even when a layer is selected. Maskable groups remain above the heading in the layer’s colour.
